I don’t have a current EDC as there is something I don’t like about most of my knifes/multitools.

This is what I want for my next one. I hope it’s comfortable to actually carry and performs the minimum function I need on something I always have on me.

It`s super light but just the right size to carry around without being all tooth-necklassy.. plus I figure if it`s good enough for the king of Sweden..

CRKT Fire Spark. I like it because the blade is spring loaded so that when you push that ridged thumb stud to the side it the blade deploys. It’s kinda big for a pocket knife, but that’s not a deal breaker for me.

Really? I mean, horses for courses, but I love them. I mean, I admit that I just like the idea of a knife that has been basically unchanged since the 19th century and completely unchanged since the 1950s, but I think that they look great and the carbon takes a stupidly sharp blade.

I have that one minus the screwdrivers so I can't speak to comfort since it adds extra width. I carried it for a long time. Literally saved a dogs life with it but cutting its collar off that got twisted and was choking to death

I usually do not carry a pocketknife, but today I grabbed this giveaway knife from my Union Christmas party goodie bag.

Everyday I carry a quick change Stanley razor knife. Best bang for the buck that holds extra blades.

For what it’s worth, I can open the olive wood one with one hand. Maybe it’s spotty quality control. Did yours ever get wet? I’ve read that if they get wet, the wood can swell and become really difficult to open.

I chopped off the tip of my pinky trying to peel a vegetable with a ceramic peeler, so I know my limits when it comes to sharp things.

On the plus side, I think it makes me a member of the Yakuza.

I have the same olive-handled Opinel No8! Bought them as groomsman gifts for my wedding. Also a soft spot for SAKs - my first knife was a Swiss Army.

Too many other knives to get into, but for today I’ve got a Spyderco Delica in my pocket - another favorite.

In my work bag I keep a Victornox Spartan in black that was a groomsman gift from my brother in law.

It’s a bitch to get open (however mine may be defective). Not crazy about the handle, no clip... But it’s just not what I’m used to. It’s like me comparing my tactical Mossberg to an old break action side by side.

My third Kershaw and couldn’t be happy. First was a whirlwind my gf at the time got me. After we split it fell out of my pocket on a pier and was lost forever. Got back together with the gf and she asked about it. Ordered myself a replacement like nothing ever happened.

Gotcha. Noticed after I wrote that you already had to answer that question - my bad. I pretty much only carry mine when I’m wearing a suit or something (figured it’s more classy than most folders I carry) so utility has never been a huge concern. Anyhow, seems to be how the Europeans like their knives these days...two-handed open/close and no locking mechanism unless you manually turn the ring.
